Treatment of chromium-zirconium copper after oxidation

Chromium-zirconium copper is mainly used for welding in the machinery manufacturing industry, where mechanical and physical properties can be obtained. When this material is used as a general resistance welding, the treatment methods of this material after oxidation are as follows.

The vinegar soaking method. Wash the rusted chromium-zirconium copper, put it in a small dish, pour in a little vinegar, and let it soak. Take it out after 24 hours, brush off residual rust with a small brush, and then wash with clean water to remove vinegar, wipe clean, and dry in the shade.

Dry brush method. Chromium-zirconium copper or rust attachment is shallow, should try to avoid the use of vinegar soaking and other chemical means, can be replaced by dry brush. Specifically, choose a large oil brush and cut the brown hair on the tip of the brush to 0.5-0.7 cm from the base before using. First put the rusty copper to brush on the glass plate, fixed, hold the root of the oil brush, brush evenly. Pay attention to force, otherwise the effect is not good, and then rinse with water.

Heating method. This method is mainly for the shallow corrosion of iron money. The main component of rust is ferrous oxide, the molecular structure is loose. So by using the principle of thermal expansion and cold contraction, some iron coins can be rusted off. However, when using this method, care should be taken to add a receiving container and add some clean water. Secondly, the heating time should not be too long. Generally three or four minutes after heating with a large fire, take it out and cover it with a cold wet towel. Rust will naturally fall off. Choose the heating method to remove rust, the object should be good iron, rust light iron money. Do not use the heating method to remove the rust on the copper coins with serious corrosion and very fragile copper body, otherwise the fragile copper body will not be able to withstand high temperature and become fragmented.

Chromium-zirconium copper has high strength hardness, electrical and thermal conductivity, good wear resistance and wear resistance. After aging treatment, the hardness, strength, electrical conductivity and thermal conductivity have been significantly improved, easy to fuse.
