Processing technology and application of brass strip

Information technology is the precursor of high technology. The main trend of computer development is fast and stable data transmission, bandwidth and low power consumption. In the computer needs a large number of brass strip alloy for spring, contactor, switch and other elastic parts. A large number of spring parts in mobile phones use brass belt, copper belt and other products. The resistance of general materials decreases with the temperature, when the temperature drops very low, the resistance of some materials will disappear, this phenomenon becomes superconductivity, high purity brass tape is a typical superconducting material. Copper belt, brass belt and other copper alloy products because of high conductivity, high strength, corrosion resistance, resistance to strong magnetic field and other special properties are widely used in aerospace, aviation and electronic industry and other sectors.

Brass strip processing process:

Hot rolling of ingot: melting → casting → sawing → heating → hot rolling → surface milling → cold rolling → heat treatment → finishing → packing and storage. The hot rolling process of ingot is a widely used and mainstream process of brass strip.

Horizontal continuous casting: melting → horizontal continuous casting with billet → annealing → milling → cold rolling → heat treatment → finishing → packing and storage. The horizontal continuous casting process is used to produce brass strip processing varieties (such as tin phosphor bronze and lead brass) which are difficult to hot roll. Short working procedure, low production cost, small equipment occupation. However, the current production of alloy is relatively single, the mold loss is also large, the upper and lower surface of casting billet structure uniformity is difficult to control.

In addition, brass strip processing will also be used to lead continuous casting: melting → lead strip blank → milling → cold rolling → heat treatment → finishing → packaging storage. The up-lead continuous casting process is a newly developed short-flow process in China, which is used to produce red copper. The general production process is short and low energy consumption.
