The welding of copper tubes has always been an indispensable part of the production and use of copper tubes. During such a very routine operation, various minor problems often occur. How do we weld the copper tube, a simple step is shown here today.

(1) Preliminary preparation

Before welding, it is necessary to have a certain understanding of the welding materials, welding tools, and production requirements. It is necessary to check whether the corresponding gas in the oxygen cylinder and the second-block gas cylinder is sufficient, the pre-inspection of each component is intact, and the surface of the material is polished clean, etc. , these are routine preliminary preparations

(2) Welding

When welding, it is necessary to preheat the copper tube, heat the place where the copper tube needs to be welded with a flame, and observe the color. Generally, dark red is about 600 degrees Celsius, deep red is about 700 degrees Celsius, and orange is about 1000 degrees Celsius.

During the welding process, the damaged parts are protected. Generally, the solenoid valve, four-way valve, etc. should be disassembled and then welded for the second time. The welding flame cannot be used as a heating electrode. During the welding process, the welding should be completed quickly and accurately, preferably at one time. When the welding is about to end for annealing, the temperature is controlled at about 300 degrees

(3) After welding

After the welding is completed, it must be cooled for a certain period of time, and the oxide, dust and some welding slag in the copper tube should be cleaned with dry nitrogen, and some missing welding places should be repaired. Before repairing the welding, the oxide layer on the surface should be removed. After repair welding, the oxidized part still needs to be treated, and after completion, it is also treated with air blowing to keep the inner wall of the copper tube dry and the outer wall intact.
